Software Developer for Industrial Control Systems

Key Responsibilities:
- Developing communications drivers for industrial control systems
- Following digital development standards & methodologies
Key Technologies:
- A solid understanding and demonstrable experience in at least the following software development languages: C++
- It would be beneficial to have knowledge of IIoT platforms – ThingWorx, Aveva technology stack, analytical tools, digital twins and machine learning, or other relevant operational technology information systems.
Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrable experience developing communications drivers
- At least 3 years of experience as a software developer
- Solid understanding of software development delivery methodologies; Agile, V-Model and/or waterfall
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and deployment processes
- Experience in working as part of software development team and being able to clearly articulate themselves to colleagues, or other members of the delivery team, including senior management
- Keen interest in Industrial IoT technologies
- Successfully completed technical degree (Bachelor, Master, Diploma) or a comparable qualification with relevant experience in the area of Software Engineering.
- Excellent communication and team skills.
- Structured and analytical way of working.
- Confident appearance in an international environment.
- Ability to cope under pressure and prioritise work accordingly.
- Full driver's licence and willingness to travel.
