We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Support Worker to join our nursing teams in oncology at the Churchill Hospital, Oxford. As a member of our team, you will work closely with registered practitioners to deliver high-quality care to patients, families, and their carers in a safe and supportive environment.

You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of care, developing and maintaining services provided to patients, and contributing to the safe, efficient, and smooth running of the ward/clinical area or department. This will be undertaken while maintaining the dignity and privacy of all patients and respecting their right to confidentiality.

Main Duties of the Job

As a member of the team in this enhanced role, you will:

  • Support and work closely with registered practitioners to deliver a high standard of care to patients, families, and their carers in a safe and supportive environment.
  • Work as part of the wider team in developing and maintaining services provided to patients and contribute to the safe, efficient, and smooth running of the ward/clinical area or department.
  • Maintain the dignity and privacy of all patients and respect their right to confidentiality.
