Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Nuffield Health Oxford, The Manor Hospital. As a General Hospital Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of waste streams (clinical, domestic, recycling, special).
  • Security checks (early morning opening, evening lockdown, and ad hoc).
  • Controlling access to the basement car park.
  • Managing of patient transfers between departments.
  • Managing of both internal and external post (including recording of postal use by on-site third parties).
  • Maintain the external environment to a high standard (including the basement car park).
  • Moving furniture, equipment, medical gases to departments.
