Job Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band Senior Nursing Assistant on the Surgical Emergency Unit (SEU) at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

SEU is an emergency surgical department based at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, providing a wide range of general and specialist clinical services.

As a Senior Nursing Assistant, you will be working alongside our Registered Nurses, gaining the opportunity to learn and understand different roles and duties within our multidisciplinary team.

Your main duties will include caring for surgical patients, helping them with their daily personal care needs, manual handling, and monitoring their clinical condition.

As a role model to your junior colleagues, you will act as a mentor and support their development within the team.
