Page Personnel Finance is partnering with a start-up Fintech firm to find an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services and a passion for the Fintech industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and process invoices and expense reports, ensuring accurate coding and policy adherence.
  • Prepare and execute payments via checks, electronic transfers, and ACH, managing schedules for timely settlements.
  • Maintain vendor records, resolve discrepancies, handle inquiries, and build positive relationships.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and vendor statements for accuracy.
  • Monitor and review employee expense reports for policy compliance and proper documentation.
  • Keep organized records of accounts payable transactions, including invoices and payment confirmations.
  • Generate reports on accounts payable activities, including outstanding payables and cash flow projections.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements, and assist with audits.
  • Use accounting software to manage data and accounts payable functions, and support system updates.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies or disputes related to invoices, payments, or vendor accounts.
  • Collaborate with departments like procurement and finance to streamline processes and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Requirements
  • A BA (Hons) in Accounting & Finance or be studying towards completion of AAT.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable, with previous experience in the Financial Services sector.
  • Must be immediately available or on a reduced notice period.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
