Renal Unit Manager

Job Overview:
Meditalent Ltd is seeking an experienced Renal Unit Manager to lead our dialysis unit in Burnley. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the unit and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the dialysis unit
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with staff and stakeholders
- Train and develop junior members of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively
- Ensure all technical equipment is properly maintained and operational, and water quality meets Renal Association standards
- Act as a professional advisor to staff, providing guidance, supervision, and evaluation of their performance on an ongoing basis
- Conduct regular audits, reviews, and patient/staff surveys to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care programs to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients
Requirements:
- NMC/HCPC registration
- Proven experience in renal care
- Post-basic qualification in renal nursing, such as a diploma or ENB course 136
