Business Development Manager Role
We are seeking a Commercial and Ambitious Business Development Manager to join our dynamic business development team. As a key member of our team, you will take responsibility for providing strategic business development support in a dual practice and industry-focused role.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record working as a business development professional and will be responsible for supporting the firm's market-leading London asset finance practice and driving forward BD efforts for the global transportation sector group.
Main Responsibilities
- Leading the preparation of proposals, pitch presentations, and credentials statements for London-based asset finance opportunities and multi-jurisdictional opportunities with a UK nexus.
- Coordinating client targeting efforts and assisting in the management of strategic client relationships across both the asset finance practice and the transportation sector.
- Undertaking research to support business planning activities and key proposals.
- Coordinating practical marketing support for profile-raising activities, such as speaking at conferences, thought leadership, and events, webinars, and hospitality.
Requirements
- Proven relevant business development and marketing experience gained within a professional services organisation.
- Demonstrable success in CRM and business analysis and desk research experience.
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills to motivate fee-earners to deliver business goals.
- A genuine interest and enthusiasm to develop an in-depth understanding of the asset finance practice and transportation sector.
