The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations at the home, creating a warm and nurturing environment where children can thrive. They will inspire and motivate their team to deliver high-quality care, achieving compliance with relevant regulations and evidence-based quality standards.

This role requires strong leadership skills, enabling the team to work collaboratively towards common goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing challenging behaviour, promoting a culture of respect, and safeguarding the well-being of children in their care.

Key responsibilities include facilitating staff training, accessing supportive services, and contributing to the development of individual care plans that address the unique needs of each child. Regular monitoring and evaluation of care practices will ensure that we maintain the highest standards of quality and service delivery.

In this dynamic role, you will enjoy a competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £46,673 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. To excel in this position, you must possess:

  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Residential Childcare) or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum two years' experience as an Ofsted-registered manager in a residential childcare setting
  • Proven ability to manage complex care needs, including challenging behaviour
  • Therapeutic approach to care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fully qualified driver's licence (desired)
