Salary & Benefits

About the Role


As a Nursery Room Leader (Level 3) - Baby Room, you will lead a team of early years practitioners in creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment for babies. You will oversee daily operations, design and implement age-appropriate activities, provide guidance and mentorship, foster positive relationships and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.



Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Hold a Level 3 in Early Years or above, demonstrating a strong understanding of early childhood development and education principles;
  • Proven leadership experience within a nursery setting, with a deep understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework;
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with children, families and colleagues;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety requirements in early years settings;
  • Dedication to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of childcare provision.


Your Key Responsibilities



  1. Lead and manage the nursery room, overseeing daily activities and ensuring a safe environment for babies;
  2. Design and implement age-appropriate activities and experiences that support children's learning and development;
  3. Provide guidance and mentorship to early years practitioners, supporting their professional development and fostering a collaborative team environment;
  4. Foster positive relationships with children, families and colleagues, creating a welcoming and inclusive community within the nursery;
  5. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and implement safeguarding procedures.
