Transforming Education for Vulnerable Young People

We are seeking highly skilled SEN/SEND Tutors to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd. Our mission is to raise the standard of educational support offered to vulnerable young people in the UK.

About the Role

We are looking for experienced SEN/SEND Tutors to provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), or other Additional Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic and engaging sessions that meet the needs and advance the educational and social-emotional journey of the young person
  • Plan each session of teaching/tutoring/mentoring
  • Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on the young person's progress
Requirements
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status/QTS/QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Experience, knowledge, and understanding of safeguarding processes
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
  • Two professional references
