About the Role

Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is seeking a skilled epidemiologist to join our team. As an epidemiologist with MSF, you will play a critical role in identifying and responding to disease outbreaks, conducting research, and providing technical support to our projects.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct epidemiological investigations and analyses to identify disease trends and patterns
  • Develop and implement surveillance systems to monitor disease outbreaks
  • Collaborate with project teams to design and implement research studies and evaluations
  • Provide technical support and training to project staff on epidemiological methods and data analysis
  • Contribute to the development of project proposals and reports

Requirements

  • Master's degree in epidemiology or a related field
  • Proven experience in epidemiological research and analysis
  • Strong technical skills in data analysis and statistical software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Fluency in English

Assets

  • Experience working in low- and middle-income countries
  • Knowledge of tropical diseases and infectious diseases
  • Previous experience in a similar role with another non-governmental organization

Language

We are looking for candidates with good French or Arabic skills. If you can speak French or Arabic, you are more likely to be accepted onto our register.
