Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team at JD Sports. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data systems and pipelines in a cloud-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data pipelines using cloud-based tools such as AWS/GCP/Azure
  • Develop and maintain large-scale data systems using Python, SQL, and other relevant technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data engineering projects
  • Investigate and utilize machine learning and artificial intelligence to improve data quality and accuracy
  • Develop and maintain data engineering best practices and standards

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in cloud data solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with Python, SQL, and other relevant technologies
  • Strong understanding of data engineering principles and best practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
