At JD Sports, we're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Data Quality and Intelligence team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering a view of database health and data quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the DQ&I Manager in delivering a view of database health and data quality
  • Review internal data quality in our key databases to ensure data is fit for purpose
  • Help with the delivery of long-term projects
  • Lead the delivery of short-term projects
  • Ensure data feeds with our marketing partner Redeye operate as intended

Requirements:

  • Excellent understanding of TSQL/PLSQL, including creation of procedures and views
  • Strong MS Office experience
  • Knowledge of PowerBI
  • Knowledge of Python is desirable
  • Management experience desirable
  • Good stakeholder communication skills
