Patient Safety Advocate

We are seeking a Patient Safety Partner to join our team at Primary Care 24, a not-for-profit social enterprise established in 1990. As a Patient Safety Partner, you will be responsible for improving safety throughout our organisation by working with staff, patients, carers, and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Attend and participate in safety meetings, such as our quarterly Safety First meeting.
- Advocate for patient interests and provide opinions on behalf of the wider community/groups of patients.
- Help implement and participate in the new National Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF).
- Cary out Primary Care accreditation visits.
- Support the safety training of staff.
- Develop patient safety information resources.
- Contribute to the development of the Patient Safety Partner role.
- You have recent experience of using Primary Care 24 services.
- You have recent and relevant experience of being a patient or carer of someone using health services.
- You are confident in sharing your views on behalf of the wider community/groups of patients and providing opinions which may not just be your own.
- You are committed to dedicating four hours a month to this role.
