Patient Safety Champion Role

About the Opportunity

At Primary Care 24, we are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Patient Safety Champion. This role involves collaborating with staff, patients, carers, and their families to enhance patient safety throughout our organisation.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about ensuring the patient voice is heard and committed to improving safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in safety meetings and contribute to discussions on improving patient safety.
  • Support the implementation of the National Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF) and participate in its development.
  • Deliver safety training to staff and develop resources to support patient safety information.
  • Contribute to the development of the Patient Safety Champion role and provide opinions on behalf of the wider community.
  • Attend meetings at our headquarters or remotely and commit to providing time to the Patient Safety Champion role.
