Hardware Asset Management Specialist, Platform Operations

At NatWest, we're seeking a skilled Hardware Asset Management Specialist to join our Platform Operations team. With a strong background in IT, you'll be responsible for managing the life cycle of hardware assets, ensuring accuracy and data quality, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive customer service improvements.

As a key member of our team, you'll contribute to the delivery of a robust production management service for our infrastructure platforms, supporting the planning and execution of work within the platform and ensuring timely servicing of feature development requests. You'll also participate in the development of strategies for managing IT hardware assets, advising purchasing, finance, and platform teams.

We're looking for a candidate with a proven track record in hardware asset management, experience with tools like ServiceNow, and knowledge of industry-standard toolsets and processes. If you have a solid background in Agile or DevOps environments, along with the ability to analyze complex data using Microsoft Excel, we'd love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the entire hardware asset life cycle, from procurement to disposal
  • Ensuring data accuracy and quality across all hardware assets
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to drive customer service improvements
  • Supporting the planning and execution of work within the platform
  • Ensuring timely servicing of feature development requests

We estimate the salary for this role to be between £60,000 and £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
