About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Telecoms Business Development Manager to join our team at Options Resourcing Limited. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to take on a new challenge and drive business growth.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the telecoms sector. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, leading the sales team, and setting and meeting sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify New Opportunities: Research and identify new business opportunities in the telecoms sector.
- Lead the Sales Team: Hire, train, and support the sales team to achieve their best performance.
- Hit Targets: Set and meet sales goals each month, quarter, and year.
- Grow Business: Find new customers and grow relationships with existing ones.
- Track Progress: Monitor sales numbers and report to management regularly.
- Plan Sales: Develop and adjust sales plans to meet market needs.
- Collaborate with Other Teams: Work closely with marketing and customer service teams to improve results.
- Stay Up-to-Date: Stay informed about telecom trends and competitors to stay ahead.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure the team follows company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in sales, especially in telecoms or a related industry.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Goal-Oriented: Focused on achieving and exceeding targets.
- Good Communicator: Strong skills in talking, listening, and building relationships.
- Tech-Savvy: Understands telecom products and services.
- Education: A degree is a bonus but not always necessary if you have the right experience.
