**Job Summary:**

Lancashire County Council's Children and Family Wellbeing Service is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team as a Family Support Worker. This role is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children, young people, and families across Lancashire.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. Undertake assessments of the needs of children, young people, and their families, in line with the Early Help Assessment Framework and 'team around the family' methodology.
  2. Deliver identified interventions with children, young people, and their families, as part of an agreed action plan to achieve positive outcomes.
  3. Carry a caseload of children and young people in families whose needs are complex, and provide intensive support case work that is up to the thresholds for statutory services.
  4. Record case notes appropriately within the agreed Case Management IT system and in line with the Service's Professional Recording Standards.

**About the Role:**

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of emotional intelligence, empathy, and understanding of the needs of children, young people, and families. As a Family Support Worker, you will work closely with the child and family to provide an enhanced level of practical support to address their needs directly.
