About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis in a supportive school environment. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on helping children reach their full potential and is looking to make a meaningful impact in education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons and supporting learning objectives.
- Providing one-to-one or small group support to children, including those with additional needs.
- Supporting classroom management and creating a positive learning environment.
- Assisting with the preparation of lesson materials and resources.
- Working collaboratively with the teaching team to implement tailored learning interventions.
Requirements:
- A Level 3 UK child-related qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, etc.).
- A current Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or the willingness to apply for one.
- Proven experience in a similar role, supporting children in a school setting.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for education.
