Job Description:

As a Teaching Assistant for SEN Pupils, you will play a vital role in supporting our children's learning and general wellbeing, ensuring they reach their full potential in a caring and safe environment.

  • Establish strong relationships with pupils, promoting a sense of safety and encouraging them to enjoy and learn during their time at the school.
  • Promote independence and personal development in pupils, maintaining high expectations of behaviour at all times.
  • Support the class teacher in providing high-quality educational activities and experiences through teaching a broad and balanced curriculum aimed at achieving full potential in all areas of learning.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who can provide exceptional support to our pupils, helping them achieve their goals and aspirations.

Qualifications and Personality:

To be successful in this role, you should possess ideal relevant qualifications or experience in education or childcare, a caring and patient personality with a strong commitment to supporting children with special educational needs, and a proactive approach to professional development.

Benefits:

This School Support Worker role offers a salary of £21,000 - £22,900 per annum, a full-time permanent contract with 40 hours of work per week, pension and life assurance benefits, a comprehensive health plan, high street discounts, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
