About This Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an SEN Learning Assistant to join our team in Kidderminster. The successful candidate will have experience working with students with SEMH/ASC needs and be committed to supporting them achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities
  1. Support students with their learning and wellbeing
  2. Establish positive relationships with pupils and staff
  3. Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver engaging educational activities
  4. Support pupils to develop independence and self-confidence
  5. Assist with care needs and behaviour management

Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • Level 2 award in Support work in schools or equivalent
  • GCSE Maths and English Level 2/C or above qualification
  • Safeguarding knowledge and experience working with pupils with SEN or SEMH/ASD
  • Ability to form positive relationships with students and staff
