Learning Support Assistant

We are currently seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist provision supporting students aged 11-19 with SEMH/ASC needs.
The role:
As a new Teaching Assistant, your key responsibility is to support the children with their learning and general wellbeing. You will work closely with the class teacher to provide high-quality educational activities and experiences tailored to individual needs.
You will establish a warm, caring, and supportive relationship with pupils, promoting independence and personal development. Your role may also involve supporting care needs and positive behaviour management as required.
Key responsibilities include providing emotional support, facilitating group activities, and contributing to the creation of a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Working Hours: 40 hours per week - term time only
Estimated Salary: £21,295.15 per annum (£10.96 per hour)
