About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maternal Medicine Specialist to join our team at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. As a key member of our Obstetrics and Gynaecology department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Norwich Regional Maternal Medicine Centre, providing tertiary care for patients with pre-existing health conditions.
  • Work alongside our existing team to deliver high-quality antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
  • Develop and implement service improvements to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of our research and development strategy in partnership with the University of East Anglia.
Requirements
  • Full GMC registration with a license to practice and entry onto the Specialist Register.
  • Advanced Labour Ward Practice and Maternal Medicine ATSM qualifications.
  • Experience in Quality Improvement methodology and service development.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
