About the Role

We are seeking a talented and creative Fashion Design Assistant to join our Product & Design Team at Sisters and Seekers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the creation of new design concepts, collating designs for review, and working closely with the wider creative team to ensure designs align with campaign concepts and overall brand ideas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in creating new design concepts daily and collate these to present to the Lead Designers/Buying Team for review
  • Create detailed CADs and tech-packs for team and supplier use
  • Create and regularly update linesheets per collection
  • Support in communicating with Suppliers and Manufacturers to track developments, implement design adjustments and sizing amendments
  • Create trend boards and provide trend forecasts on a regular basis, highlighting key styles, vintage references and design details
Requirements
  • A minimum of a completed Fashion Design Degree at 2:1 or above
  • Experience in a womenswear or menswear design role previously is also great, but not required to apply
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • The ability to work on-site at our office
  • Evidence and examples of a strong design portfolio
  • A creative flair with a unique vision and original ideas
  • Excellent knowledge of the brand, the customer and our signature aesthetic
  • A keen eye for fashion and style in day-to-day life, with ideally an interest in Vintage clothing
  • Effective project management skills and the ability to work on different projects simultaneously
