Senior National Sales Leader

A leading player in the pharma and wellness industry seeks a seasoned Sales Director to lead national accounts within health. This strategic role will drive business growth through effective sales strategies, account management, and new business development.
About Our ClientWe are a B-Corp certified business with a strong reputation in the market. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies that meet and exceed targets.
Job Description- Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Create and execute plans to drive business growth, improve sales performance, and expand market share.
- Manage Existing Accounts: Foster strong relationships with key personnel, identify opportunities for growth, and develop tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
- Win New Business: Proactively seek out and secure new accounts, building on existing relationships and leveraging industry connections.
- P&L Management: Oversee profit and loss statements, forecasting, and budgeting to ensure financial goals are met.
- Negotiations and Contracts: Develop and manage contracts, negotiate pricing, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring open communication and collaborative working practices.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, reporting back to the business on progress and identifying areas for improvement.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Proven Experience: A track record of driving national sales growth in an FMCG environment, with experience working at Boots essential.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the beauty, healthcare, wellness, pharma, suncare, or similar industries.
- Commercial Acumen: Commercially minded with the ability to manage P&Ls, JBPs, and forecasts.
- Skills and Qualifications: Excellent reporting, organisation, communication, and negotiation skills, with knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Location: Must be able to work 3 days a week in West London.
In return for your expertise, we offer:
- Competitive Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
