We are seeking an On-Call Rescue Team Member to join our team at WMJobs. As a Fire Protection Specialist, you will provide fire cover at 22 stations and respond to emergencies such as floods, fires, road traffic collisions, and chemical spills.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will undergo a two-week training course and evening training sessions for 10 weeks. You will also receive ongoing training throughout your career.

Requirements
  • Live or work within five minutes of an on-call fire station (excluding Telford Central)
  • Be over 18
  • Be physically fit (training provided)

Working Conditions

You will be required to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, and may be called upon to attend emergency situations at short notice.

The estimated salary for this role is £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
