Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our paediatric community care team as a Clinical Trainer and Educator.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that enhance the clinical skills of healthcare teams and professionals working in paediatric care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and conduct educational sessions on paediatric care for non-clinical staff, ensuring safety and competency in delegated tasks.
  • Provide clinical competency sign-offs for trained tasks required in support packages, enhancing practical skills in paediatrics.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and provide constructive feedback to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest paediatric healthcare practices and integrate new research and evidence-based guidelines into training programs.
  • Collaborate closely with paediatric clinical teams to assess training needs and improve care delivery through education.

Requirements:

  • A recognised NMC qualification allowing work with children and young people.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • 5 years of experience working in a clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience delivering training.

Salary: £45,000 per annum, plus expenses and bonus, offering a competitive remuneration package.

Location: Northeast, remote or hybrid work options available, Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm).
