Veterinary Reception Role Overview:

This exciting opportunity has arisen for an Experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join the team at our prestigious Central London surgery - Elizabeth Street Veterinary Clinic. As the front-of-house team member, you will be the key to creating a warm and welcoming environment for our teams, our patients, and their owners.

This is a Full-Time position, working 40 hours per week with 1:3 weekends (TOIL for weekends worked).

  1. Welcoming clients and their pets upon arrival
  2. Booking appointments and arrivals on the RX Works diary
  3. Promoting our Healthcare Plan to ensure pets receive premium discounted preventative treatment
  4. Booking follow-up appointments for pets after their initial consultation
  5. Assisting the Vet and Nurse team with queries
  6. Scanning paperwork onto pets' digital records
  7. Liaising with clients regarding appointment booking and medication collection
  8. Ordering food and medication
  9. Processing payments immediately after treatment and handling 0% finance applications for larger operations
  10. Managing a busy reception desk efficiently and professionally

About You:

Ideally, you will have:

  • Previous experience working as a Veterinary Receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role within the Veterinary or Medical Industry
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational abilities and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • A genuine love for animals and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service
