About the Role:
  Room to Read is seeking a highly skilled Global Fundraising Events Coordinator to support the implementation of our three annual galas in the EMEA region. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Director of Development and assist the Development Managers in achieving their fundraising goals. This role requires strong event management skills, excellent communication, and a willingness to travel.



Key Responsibilities:
 


  • Develop and execute event strategies to increase engagement with corporate sponsors and high-net-worth donors.
  • Coordinate logistical elements of event management, including venue selection, program creation, catering, and sponsorship procurement.
  • Support Development Managers with research, event creation, and data collection.
  • Design processes to streamline activities, including guest registration, event promotions, and sponsorship tracking.
  • Engage with local volunteer chapters to identify volunteers for in-person event tasks.
  • Work with key corporate accounts to secure donations and sponsorships.
  • Prepare reports on return on investment and other key metrics.


Requirements:
  The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, a minimum of 3 years of non-profit fundraising event experience, and excellent communication skills in English. Experience with donor databases is preferred.



What We Offer:
  A competitive salary range of GBP 38,450 – 43,150 per year, 25 days of paid leave, and 8 bank holidays per year.
