Action Village India (AVI) is a UK-based charity that supports Indian NGO partners in delivering programs for marginalized communities in rural India.

You will be part of a small team in the London office, responsible for the day-to-day administration, communication, and event fundraising. Working closely with our Communications, Fundraising, and Operations Manager, you will lead the organization of AVI's information desk at WOMAD Festival, assist with exhibition production, and support other fundraising events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event management and coordination
  • Administration of sponsorship fundraising events
  • Inviting and liaising with guests and volunteers for upcoming events
  • Leading the organization of AVI's information desk at WOMAD
  • Assisting with exhibition production and setup
  • Liaising with the established Madras Café team
  • Fundraising opportunities through events and the AVI ethical gift shop
  • Communications and Office Management

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative
  • IT skills and experience with email, database, social media, and graphic design software
  • Commitment to AVI's values and ethos
  • Proactive, creative, and enthusiastic approach

Estimated Salary: £2500 - £3000 per month
