Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified SEN Teacher to join our dynamic team in West Malling. As an SEN Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and support students with various learning needs.

About the Role

The successful candidate will design and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of SEN students. They will work collaboratively with a dedicated team to create personalised learning plans, track progress, and provide consistent support to ensure each student thrives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse abilities within the classroom.
  • Create an inclusive classroom environment where every student feels supported and respected.
  • Work closely with parents, colleagues, and external agencies to create effective learning plans.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, experience teaching students with SEN, and strong knowledge of strategies to support various learning needs. They should also demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills, a commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and equality in education, and Enhanced DBS on the update service.

Salary and Benefits

We offer competitive pay rates based on experience, ranging from £35,000 to £55,000 per annum. Additionally, we provide access to over 2,500 certified CPD courses through the National College, a generous referral scheme, comprehensive interview preparation, lesson planning support, and an online portal for managing timesheets and availability.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
