We are currently seeking a Special Needs Assistant to join our team in Trafford, working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social and Emotional Mental Health Needs (SEMH). As a member of the provision team in an SEND School, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive learning environment that promotes academic success and personal growth.

About the Role

This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent. You will work closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting students with SEND and SEMH needs
  • Developing and implementing individualized support plans
  • Collaborating with teaching staff to enhance student outcomes
Requirements
  • Experience working with children and young people with SEND
  • Compassionate, nurturing, and patient individual
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

The salary for this role is estimated at £95-£115 per day.
