About the RoleWe are recruiting a new team of mental health support workers to support an individual living independently in their own home, receiving 2:1 support 24 hours a day.
The ideal candidate will have experience providing encouragement to individuals with complex health needs and learning disabilities, as well as implementing detailed care plans and risk assessments.
Responsibilities- Supporting an individual with Organic Personality Disorder and dysarthria resulting from brain injury
- Providing transportation using a mobility vehicle to access the community
- Implementing detailed care plans and risk assessments
- Encouraging the individual to engage in fitness and gym activities
- Full UK Driving License (essential)
- Social care experience, ideally within mental health
- Experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviors
- Current Right to Work in the UK and at least 6 months employment history
- Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references
