Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lifeguard to join our team at GLL. As a Senior Lifeguard, you will be responsible for overseeing the lifeguard team, ensuring the safety of our customers, and maintaining the cleanliness of the pool environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor a team of lifeguards
  • Ensure the safety of customers and staff
  • Conduct regular pool rotations and supervise the cleaning of the pool area
  • Set up equipment and maintain the pool environment
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and handle customer queries
  • Support the team in preparing studios, gyms, and sports halls for activities
  • Contribute to the overall maintenance and upkeep of the centre

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a lifeguard or in a related role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
