Anti-Social Behaviour Coordinator
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Anti-Social Behaviour Coordinator. As a key member of our Community Safety team, you will play a vital role in devising, coordinating, and implementing action plans to investigate and resolve allocated cases of anti-social behaviour, hate-based harassment, and cuckooing across the borough.
Your primary responsibility will be to maintain regular victim support within set timescales, ensuring that their safety and well-being are prioritized. You will work closely with relevant stakeholders, including Area Housing Office staff and managers, to ensure that they are kept informed of progress and developments in cases.
For cases outside the Council's housing stock, you will coordinate an action plan, taking account of the role and responsibilities of any other relevant landlord or stakeholder. You will also work directly on the issue where no other agency has the focus to do so, or concerns are raised about the management of that case.
As an ASB Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that Risk Assessments and the cuckooing victim risk matrix are updated monthly to accurately reflect the short- and long-term risk to the victim. You will also present and lead at the monthly Cuckooing Risk Panel, discussing new referral case discussions and high-risk case reviews.
Key responsibilities include devising, coordinating, and implementing action plans to prevent anti-social behaviour and/or divert people currently behaving anti-socially into more constructive activities. You will work in collaboration with staff from Area Housing Offices and with other landlords and stakeholders.
Additionally, you will devise, coordinate, and implement safeguarding referrals and practices for all cases in accordance with relevant safeguarding legislation, liaising with relevant partners within LBHF and the NHS.
We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace that values diversity and promotes equal opportunities. We believe that our workplace should be accessible to everyone, and we take a proactive approach to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
As a Shared Services Partnership, we are dedicated to providing high-quality services to our community. If you are passionate about making a difference and have the skills and experience to excel in this role, we encourage you to apply.
Key Qualifications- A relevant degree-level qualification or experience gained through working at an equivalent level within a Housing or Community Safety environment.
We offer a comprehensive total reward package, including flexible working arrangements and a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. We believe that our workplace should be a place where everyone feels valued and respected.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and adults. We expect all employees, workers, and volunteers to share this commitment.
