About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Residential Care Worker to join our team at Arnfield Care Ltd. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our residential settings.

As a Senior Residential Care Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents, addressing their care, education, social, emotional, cultural, therapeutic, and health needs. You will also lead, supervise, and support junior staff members in providing round-the-clock care and support that meets our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of residents, addressing their care, education, social, emotional, cultural, therapeutic, and health needs.
  • Lead, supervise, and support junior staff members in providing round-the-clock care and support.
  • Assist the management team in ensuring policies, procedures, and record-keeping measures are adhered to.
  • Cover various shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and sleep-ins, on weekdays, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
  • Liaise with senior management and external parties to advocate for, safeguard, and promote the welfare of residents.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in children's residential care settings (or similar).
  • Demonstrable experience leading shifts/teams.
  • Senior roles require level 3/4 in residential Childcare (or equivalents).
  • Ability to commit to full-time working, including sleep-ins and short residential trips.
  • Manual driving license required.
