Job Title: Clinical Education Lead CAMHS

NELFT North East London Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Education Lead to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in Barking & Dagenham.

Main Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and driving the service forward, working closely with key stakeholders across Health, Social Care, and Education to deliver a seamless service. This will include working with our Autism service and driving excellence and research in the field of paediatric autism in partnership with the University of Cambridge.

Key Duties:
  • Provide clinical leadership for the CAMHS Services portfolio and pathways across Barking and Dagenham.
  • Develop and implement service development and Quality Improvement initiatives.
  • Work with and through teams, colleagues, and peers to deliver directorate and system-wide improvement.
  • Provide clinical supervision to qualified staff.
  • Develop effective relationships with key partners, including the ICB, Local Authority, GPs, voluntary sector organisations, and other statutory agencies.
Person Specification:
  • Qualified psychological practitioner (e.g. psychologist, family therapist, child and adolescent psychotherapist, cognitive behavioural therapist) fully registered with the appropriate professional or regulatory body.
  • Extensive experience in Children's Mental Health.
  • Ability to demonstrate skills in Audit and Research.
  • Experience in managing patient safety and risk management.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and data protection.
What We Offer:

NELFT North East London Foundation Trust offers a competitive salary of £74,290 to £85,601 a year plus HCAS, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
