Domiciliary Care Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and caring individual to join our team as a Domiciliary Care Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care services within our care home, ensuring that our residents receive personalized care tailored to their individual needs.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills in English, a valid driving license, and a solid understanding of IT systems to effectively manage care plans and coordinate with staff, residents, and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and review individual care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in care delivery.
  • Supervise and support care staff, providing training and guidance as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and their families to address concerns and provide updates on care progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
  • Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Foster a positive environment that promotes the dignity and independence of residents.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care services.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a care home or home care setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to drive and travel as required for the role.
  • Proficient in IT systems for managing care plans and documentation.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in the field of health and social care.
