Activity Program Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Activity Program Coordinator to join our team at Ventry Care Homes in Golders Green. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a variety of activities that promote independence, choice, and dignity for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Organise and participate in events throughout the year, including summer fetes, seasonal celebrations, parties, and charity events.
- Develop and implement a varied activities program that caters to different interests and abilities.
- Motivate and inspire residents by getting to know them as individuals, their interests, life stories, and families.
- Support resident and relative meetings, participation forums, and the development of a resident newsletter.
- Level 2 (QCF) Supporting Activities Provision in Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working with older adults and those living with dementia.
- Caring and compassionate attitude, outgoing personality, and sensitivity to humour.
- Able to lead volunteers, encourage resident participation, and communicate effectively.
- Prioritise workload, make responsible decisions, and act in residents' best interests.
- Competitive hourly rate starting at £11.50, increasing with experience and qualifications.
- Paid holidays up to 28 days.
