Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Stores Coordinator to join our team at YASA Limited. As a Technical Stores Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing all goods coming in and out of our technical stores area, ensuring the plant has the correct level of spares and consumables to run effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling all deliveries and organizing the release of goods from stores, maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Ordering and replenishing technical spares and consumable items.
  • Communicating with suppliers for any technical concerns or issues regarding part specifications, obsolescence, and discontinuation.
  • Verifying incoming deliveries and inspecting goods upon receipt.
  • Booking all items out of stores (as and when used/taken) to ensure accurate stock levels are maintained.
  • Delivering goods to point of use as required (Cell storage/Kanban areas/PM kits).
  • Regularly updating the inventory management system to maintain accuracy.
  • Carrying out cycle counts and stores audits.
  • Communicating with purchasing and suppliers regarding stock discrepancies and delivery issues.
  • Maintaining thorough records of surplus items and shortages and liaising with purchasing to address them.
  • Following relevant health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational abilities and effective time management.
  • Proficiency in basic IT, including inventory management, Word, and number processing.
  • An efficient methodical work approach, with a sharp attention to detail and processes.
  • The ability to collaborate in a team environment as well as work independently.
  • Solid work ethic and commitment to completing tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills.
