We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Excellence Lead - Audit Quality to join our growing Technical Team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and managing the monitoring and remediation processes relating to findings and deficiencies noted from internal quality reviews and external inspections.

About this role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the development of our audit quality strategy. You will work closely with the Audit Quality Director, Head of Technical, and other members of the Technical Team to implement and monitor our audit quality strategy and plans.

Your key responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a root cause analysis methodology that ensures effective identification and mitigation of risks and deficiencies.
  • Perform root cause analysis on internal and external inspections, identifying areas for improvement and developing recommendations for remedial action.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through written reports, policies, and guidance, as well as firmwide training sessions.
  • Liaise with Learning & Development (L&D) and the Audit Methodology Team to ensure consistency and alignment with firm-wide policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our audit quality strategy and plans, working closely with the Audit Quality Director and other members of the Technical Team.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who can bring technical expertise and excellent communication skills to this role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audit and quality assurance, with experience in performing RCAs and developing methodologies.
