About the Role
This SEND Lead Worker position requires a highly organised individual with extensive experience of working in partnership with children, young people, and their families, particularly those with SEND. The role involves coordinating and facilitating the Education, Health and Care Needs Assessment process and overseeing the review and monitoring process of Education, Health, and Care plans (EHCP).
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate the Education, Health and Care Needs Assessment process, ensuring timely completion of assessments and reports.
- Oversee the review and monitoring process of EHCPs, ensuring that they remain relevant and effective.
- Collaborate with colleagues from various departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A minimum of a level 4 recognised qualification.
- A minimum of two years of experience in early years, social care, health, or education.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
