Advanced Nurse Practitioner Mental Health Primary Care Specialist

At NHS, we are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner Mental Health Primary Care Specialist. This exciting opportunity has arisen within the directorate of theatres anaesthetics pre assessment and pain. We are looking to recruit a matron in theatres at band 8a level.
The role will support the leadership of our vast theatres nursing workforce and lead the daily operations. To be successful, you should be able to demonstrate innovation in practice, experience of contributing to quality improvement and governance, have excellent communication and negotiation skills and can positively influence others.
Applicants should have comprehensive experience of working in theatres at band 7 level. They should have experience of risk management process, patient safety investigation and shared learning. A strong ability to engage with others, excellent interpersonal communication, negotiation and influencing skills is essential.
We estimate that this role comes with an annual salary of £85,000 - £105,000 based on your experience.
Main Responsibilities- Patient Care: Ensure high standards of patient care at all times challenging and ensuring others challenge poor practise, in accordance with the NMC Professional Code of Conduct.
- Nursing Governance: In collaboration with senior members of the Divisional team provide assurance that the standards set out in the relevant Nursing & Midwifery strategy and direction of Nursing & Midwifery for the Trust are delivered at ward level.
- Clinical Quality Accreditation: Ensure local plans support all clinical quality external accreditation, for example Care Quality Commission (CQC) essential standards, Safety Thermometer, Commissioning for Quality and Innovation (CQUIN), Quality Accounts, NHS Litigation Authority.
