We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Centre of Clinical Excellence for Veterans and First Responders Health in Surrey, BC. As a valued member of our interdisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with experts from various fields to offer multifaceted care that covers lifestyle medicine, counselling, neurorehabilitation, and an array of services designed to support our unique population.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing primary care services to Veterans, first responders, and their family members. This includes conducting comprehensive health assessments, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and coordinating referrals to specialists and community resources.

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual who is committed to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Nursing, current licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner in British Columbia, and authorization to prescribe medications.

This is a full-time or part-time position with flexible work arrangements to help you maintain a healthy equilibrium between your career and personal life. We offer a competitive hourly rate: $90-$110 per hour.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide primary care services to Veterans, first responders, and their family members
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and coordinate referrals to specialists and community resources
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care

**Requirements:**

  • Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Current licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner in British Columbia
  • Authorization to prescribe medications
  • Passion for collaborating with experts from various fields to offer multifaceted care
  • Experience caring for individuals dealing with complex health needs, mental health conditions, trauma, and chronic pain
  • Proficient in the use of healthcare technology and electronic health records
  • Compassion, empathy, and a dedication to providing high-quality, culturally sensitive care
