About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ICT Technician to join our Data Centre Operations team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the reliability and performance of our data centre infrastructure, as well as developing and maintaining documentation on the technologies we support.

This is a critical role within our IT team, and we are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality results.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair, as well as experience with computer networking. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Diagnosing and repairing issues with server, storage, and network devices
  • Participating in data centre power and cooling events
  • Developing and maintaining documentation on the technologies we support
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • 1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
  • 1+ years of computer networking experience
  • Knowledge of server hardware and components
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
