We are seeking a highly skilled Data Centre ICT Shift Technician to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our infrastructure operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the reliability and performance of our data centre infrastructure.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair, as well as experience with computer networking. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

As a Data Centre ICT Shift Technician, your primary responsibility will be to diagnose and repair issues with server, storage, and network devices. This will involve working closely with other teams to identify and resolve complex technical problems.

You will also be responsible for participating in data centre power and cooling events, as well as collaborating with colleagues to develop and maintain documentation on the technologies we support.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • 1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
  • 1+ years of computer networking experience
  • Knowledge of server hardware and components
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
