Tdm Recruitment is working with a leading privately owned residential developer in the South East to appoint a Strategic Development Surveyor to join their senior development team.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects from early identification/acquisition through the planning process, working closely with the senior development team to deliver high-profile projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Project managing complex residential-led schemes through the planning application and appeals process.
- Working closely with the senior development team to identify and acquire new development opportunities.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities and landowners.
- Providing detailed knowledge of planning policy in residential developments.
- Collaborating with the development team to deliver high-profile projects and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in a relevant field, such as land surveying or property development.
- 1-3 years post-graduate experience as a development manager, development surveyor, or land buyer.
- Proven experience of project managing complex residential-led schemes through the planning application and appeals process.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
