Senior Building Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join our team at Workman LLP. As a key member of our Building Consultancy team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality services to our clients, including contract and project work, dilapidation's, and fire safety.
You will be responsible for managing multiple building surveying instructions simultaneously for a range of key clients, including institutional fund management clients, landlords, consultants, and tenants. Your ability to work within set timelines and provide regular client updates will be essential to your success.
As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be expected to demonstrate your expertise in building and maintaining close professional relationships with clients, tenants, and colleagues. You will also be required to use your initiative and pro-activeness to deliver on client expectations and provide professional advice and support.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the project process from inception to completion
- Working with landlords and tenants on their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives to ensure sustainable methods and materials are used
- Developing a strategic view on the lifecycle of property assets and understanding client objectives
- Leading a small team of surveyors and supporting their further studies
- Providing regular client updates and maintaining close professional relationships
We are looking for a Senior Building Surveyor who is MRICS chartered and has commercial property experience in a similar consultancy. You will be an excellent communicator with a proactive and positive approach to work.
