Job Summary:

Tait is seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join our global legal team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with a wide range of legal matters involving contracts, business, and corporate issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders. Update, organize, and manage the contract management system to align with company policies and procedures.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and complete records and files on internal databases.
  • Contract Compliance: Monitor and support contract compliance, including key contract dates and timelines, deliverables, and permits, licenses, etc.
  • Contract Formation: Assist with the intake of Contract Requests (project, NDA, vendor) and prepare and review terms for standard templated contracts.
  • Legal Research: Conduct internal and external research and resolve legal questions under the direction of in-house attorneys.
  • Communication: Effectively convey complex legal terms to non-legal stakeholders and negotiate contract terms.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business law or administration or a related field.
  • Experience: Experience in a legal setting, preferably in production and/or live entertainment with commercial management and/or contract administration duties.
  • Skills: Established contract management and administration skills, flexibility, adaptability, and a love of learning new skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a strong sense of accountability, and highly developed attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
