At Care First 24, we value the expertise of our carers, who provide high-quality care and support to our clients. We are seeking a Paediatric Complex Care Assistant to join our team in Oxfordshire, where you will have the opportunity to work with a young person who requires complex care.

This role involves providing care and support to a child with complex needs, including tracheostomy care, ventilation, and medication administration. You will work closely with our Paediatric / Children's Clinical Lead and Care Coordinator to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered.

Key Responsibilities

Tracheostomy care and management

Ventilation via tracheostomy

Nocturnal BiPap and Humidification

Medication administration

Personal care (wash, nappy change, etc.)

Suctioning (Yankeur/Deep Suctioning)

PEG Feeding

Diabetes blood monitoring

Oxygen therapy

Catheterisation

Care and Use of Dual port - Gastro-Jej

Requirements

1 year of experience in Paediatrics

Availability to work 10 hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
